Diego’s aesthetic treatments

Hi there,

In today’s post I will tell you about the aesthetic treatments that Diego usually does.

Last Thursday I told you about the treatments that I have had since I arrived in Porto:

When we lived in Valencia, I also took Diego to the Ricart Medical Institute. To my surprise, the doctor didn’t want to do practically anything to him because “men don’t look good with fillers”.

In the last post I had already told you that I didn’t like this doctor, although he was very good, because he was sexist and when Diego went there, I was even more upset.

While he wanted to put hyaluronic acid all over my face, he didn’t want to do anything to Diego. And Diego, having lost weight and being a runner, had much more flaccidity and loss of volume in his face than I did.

At that time, he had Botox and a little filler in his cheekbones.

When we arrived in Porto, at the Luso Espanhola Clinic, in addition to his Botox session every 6 months, he had radiesse and hyaluronic acid in his cheekbones.

Diego’s treatment with radiesse did look good.

When we changed to the Best Medical Concept Clinic, Dr. Pedro proposed first to inject biostimulators to try to recover the elasticity and in a few months, we would see if he needed any other treatment.

The new doctor suggested 3 sessions of a new biostimulator that also helped a lot for rosacea. He would do the sessions every 15 days.

So far no one had told Diego that he had rosacea, and he gave us recommendations so that it would not get worse.

The sessions with this biostimulator were painful since, when injecting the liquid, you feel very strong pricks.

After the hair transplant, Diego has to get hair PRP 2 or 3 times a year.

I told the doctor that it seemed that Diego was losing the density of the transplant. When he checked him, he said that he had dermatitis and that this was also causing his hair to fall out.

He sent him a shampoo for the dermatitis and a new one for the hair loss. We would follow up in a few months.

After the 3 sessions of biostimulators, we would evaluate if he needed any other procedure for the skin flaccidity or some filler with hyaluronic acid.

In summary, here is what Diego has done on a regular basis:

  • Botox300 euros (every 6 months).
  • Biostimulators – 3 sessions for 600 euros
  • Cheek fillers – Between 500 and 600 euros (1 or 2 times a year)
  • Hair PRP230 euros (2 or 3 times a year)

Here is the before and after of 3 sessions of biostimulators.
